Katsuki POV

It's been thirteen years since I last saw Deku. It's been eight years since he's moved out of our kingdom. Thirteen years since I've truly been happy. Eight years since I stopped pretending to be happy. It was time I became king. All I need now is a king. Women were still told to come, 'not to be rude' my mother said. I own everything. I don't need to be nice. Only one person can direct me. You know who by this point. Years ago I ordered one of my guards to tell me if Izuku were to move back here. Hopefully within the next day he will. Tomorrow is the day I marry someone. I hope it'll be Izuku. Hope. Maybe I can hope and it'll come true. A dream might become reality. Maybe. (Wondering if Katsuki is a poet) We just sent out guards to go to every house, male or female, inviting them to the ceremony. The whole kingdom is the size of our castle times one hundred. (Idfk it's big alright?) It might take a while, so I decide to go lay down since I had nothing better to do.

Izuku POV

It's really good to be back here. We moved back from the Todoroki kingdom about a year ago, but the only person who really acknowledged it was Uraraka. She still called me 'Deku', and it was almost like things never even changed. Why does it feel like I'm forgetting something? Oh shoot! That's right, tomorrow is the day that our prince is choosing a bride! How nic- *Knock knock* Hm. I wonder who that could be. Mom's in the village, so I guess I have to answer- "Hello?" I said in a questioning tone as I opened the door. "Hello! I'm one of prince Bakugo's guards. I'm here to invite you to the ceremony tomorrow." Wait. But I'm a boy. "Uh... But-" He cut me off by saying, "I understand you must be confused. We got news that our prince wants all there, even males. If you have no interest, you do not have to go." He informed me while handing me a piece of paper. "Oh, thank you!" I said politely. The nice guard and I said our goodbyes and he went on his way. I think I'll go if it's ok with mom. I'll just work on dinner until she gets back from the market with her clothes.

A few minutes later~

"I'm home Sweetheart!" I hear mom call to me. I was just finishing up dinner. "Ah, hi mom! Did you get what you wanted?" I politely asked, not wanting to tell her about the invitation just yet. "Yes I did! I got some fancy clothes just in case I need to go out!" She happily exclaimed. I was happy for her because she doesn't really get many opportunities to buy anything she really wants, but she got a new really good paying job. "Ooh~ Is that katsudon?" She inquires as she smelled the kitchen. I laugh at her excitement and bring the bowls to our small table. I discretely grab the shiny letter from the counter and make my to my seat. We start eating, but I suddenly stop. "Izuku, what's wrong? You stopped eating." I pulled out the little slip of paper and handed it to her while looking down. She took it then started mumbling what was on it. "Dear Izuku.... you have... TO THE PALACE! Oh Izuku that's wonderful!" She said with a huge smile on her face. She stood up and pounced on me, enveloping in a huge hug. The food was forgotten that night. My mother dragged me into the market to buy all sorts of fancy clothing! "Izuku! Look at this one!" She yelled, pointing at a green suit. I didn't really want any fancy attire. I just wanted to go in my normal, casual clothes. "Uh... mom, I- I don't really want any fancy clothes. I've never been one to like 'em, you know that!" I say patiently, not wanting to hurt her feelings. She turned her head towards me with a smile. "Ok! Let's just head back and sleep! You have a big day ahead of you!" I smile back at her and started walking back, her beside me.

Later, 12:00 AM

"Izuku, when I get older, you're gonna be my bride!" Kacchan yelled at me, while putting a flower-crown on me. "Kacchan! I can't be a bride! I'm a boy!" I say giggling. "Well, when we get older, I'm gonna marry you! K?" Kacchan said while laying down next to me. "Mmm... K!" I yell back! We both stared up at the stars. It was a beautiful night. I" wonder what happens to lost memories... When we go home, we remember what happens, right? But eventually... Poof!" I say out of the blue. Kacchan turned his head towards me, who was still looking up at the stars. "Well... Maybe they go to the back of your brain, and when you do it again, you remember!" Kacchan replied, looking back up. "Yeah... Maybe!" I giggled.
