May 31, 2023–time is flying. I like to end each month just like I start it: with a little reflection.I look at what went down before diving into the next month, looking for wins and reminders of small and big things that happened the last few weeks. This month’s wins look like:🏆 taking or defending another five depositions; 🏆going Up North for the first time in a while and enjoying the beauty of Wisconsin; 🏆 starting my role as summer associate work coordinator;🏆 making the evening news for the grand opening of a once-traveling, now-permanent beer garden in our neighborhood; and🏆 resting Memorial Day weekend. When you’re in the grind (I’m finally coming out of it), it can be hard to pause and remember all you do—personally and professionally—in a month. Looking back helps me see gaps in where I am and where I want to be, but it also helps me see the foundation I’m building for what comes next. What are your wins for May? #lawyerwellbeing #professionalwomen #bestadvice #gettingthingsdone #law

Congratulations!!!!!!I have watched you grow, flourish into a confident, brilliant young woman. Your unwavering commitment to knowledge, justice, and fairness has always been evident, and it fills my heart with admiration and pride.Law school will undoubtedly test your limits, both intellectually and emotionally. There will be long nights of studying, rigorous debates, and demanding deadlines. But I know that your resilience, intellect, and passion will carry you through. Remember that challenges are the stepping stones to growth, and every obstacle you encounter will shape you into a stronger, more compassionate advocate for justice. As you delve into the vast realm of law, I urge you to remain true to yourself and your values. Let your unwavering integrity be your compass, guiding you through the complexities of the legal landscape.

European life sciences regulatory head Grant Castle on why a career in life sciences is never boring and how market dynamics have shifted the dial for lawyers in the sector. As Castle states: 'There have been times in my career where I have wondered what we will be doing once the world has moved on from the big issues of the time. I should never have worried because there have always been interesting challenges around the corner.'Read more at: https://lnkd.in/egCy-nUP
