All released and upcoming PlayStation games on PC - Razzem (2024)

Sony has been making massive progress in bringing the PlayStation and PC gaming community closer, an effort Microsoft has also done with Xbox. Console, or PC gamers, we’re all a big happy family!

Can you play PlayStation games on PC? Well, let’s put it this way, the term “PlayStation Exclusive” is starting to fade away in terms of well, reality. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great that PS-exclusive titles find their way to the PC platform, I’m worried that this doesn’t happen more often and closer to the game’s original release date. But beggars can’t be choosers, so we’ve got to work with what we have! In this article we’ll dive deep into all officially ported PlayStation titles to PC, as well as focusing our attention on upcoming PlayStation titles to PC. It’s important to mention that all released Sony PlayStation games for the PC are available exclusively through the Steam or Epic Games platforms.

The advantage PC gamers have over these games consists of mainly three things. The first is performance, a more fluent framerate through the game sessions. Second is the unlocked framerate, as well all know, PlayStation-exclusive titles (on PS4, and PS5) are locked at 60 or 120 frames per second, while the PC ports can do more than 120, as much as your GPU and system can drive, really. The third and final advantage is the ultra-wide monitor support. The normal PS4 and PS5 exclusive titles are locked in the 16:9 resolution of either full HD or 4K, while PC gamers can enjoy the cinematic views of an Ultra-Wide monitor with a resolution of either 2560×1080, or 3440×1440. Add to that graphical improvements and options, mouse and keyboard support, and keybinding adjustments, and you’re in a world of PC customization alright!

With all the technical details out of the way, let’s begin with the already released PlayStation exclusive titles to PC, which are quite a lot lately. Honestly, as both a PlayStation and PC gamer, I feel like Sony has already ported their best PS exclusives to the PC. We’re all eager to see what comes next, but until then, let’s see what Sony currently has in store for the Personal Computer community. To quickly set the ground rules, all of the games mentioned in this article are produced and published exclusively by PlayStation.

The Last of Us Part I

The Last of Us Part I, Naughty Dog’s iconic post-apocalyptic tale, made its way to PC but faced an uphill battle initially. At launch, the PC port was marred by a swarm of bugs, leading to widespread disappointment and negative reviews. However, in true Naughty Dog fashion, the developers swiftly tackled these issues, releasing patches that rectified the flaws. Today, the game stands triumphantly on Steam with very positive user reviews, allowing PC gamers to fully immerse in Joel and Ellie’s gripping journey in a now polished experience.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Marvel’s Spider-Man, an exhilarating action-adventure super-hero title, first swung into action in 2018 exclusively for the PS4. In 2022, PC gamers rejoiced as this acclaimed game found its way onto their platform. With fluid web-slinging mechanics and an emotionally rich narrative, it’s no surprise that it garnered great Steam reviews upon its PC debut. Today, Marvel’s Spider-Man stands as one of the best overwhelmingly positive games on Steam, allowing a wider audience to experience Peter Parker’s unforgettable adventure in the sprawling, dynamic cityscape of New York.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a riveting continuation of the Spider-Man saga, debuted in 2020 for the PS5. Remarkably, by 2022, it swung onto PC platforms with very good reviews, showcasing PlayStation’s increasing regard for PC gamers. This swift porting signifies a new era, hinting that PlayStation is aware of the growing demand from the PC community. Miles Morales not only introduces a fresh, magnetic protagonist but also underscores PlayStation’s evolving strategy, promising a brighter future for PC enthusiasts eager for more crossover titles.

For enthusiasts of the zombie genre, Days Gone isn’t just another title; it’s a classic, solidifying its place as a must-play for all undead apocalypse aficionados.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition

Horizon Zero Dawn, a mesmerizing post-apocalyptic journey with Aloy, initially stunned PS players with its intricate narrative and vast, robotic wilderness. With the integration of Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, players enjoy significant boosts in frames per second, ensuring smoother and more responsive gameplay. Additionally, Ray Tracing accentuates the game’s already stunning visuals, enveloping players in a more immersive, detailed world. Topping it off with ultra-wide monitor support, Returnal on PC is a masterclass in how to elevate an already stellar game to newfound heights.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

Sackboy: A Big Adventure stitches its way onto PC, bringing with it the charm and challenge of its console counterpart. Beneath its adorable exterior lies a test of skill and wit. While the game offers delightful couch co-op fun, making it a blast to play alongside a friend, certain levels push players to their limits. The cute graphics are a delightful facade, masking deceptively tough challenges. Don’t be fooled: this game isn’t just a whimsical journey, but a gauntlet demanding precision and teamwork. The PC port maintains this essence, making it a must-play for co-op enthusiasts. Oh, and the game also has one of the best soundtracks in video game history!

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, once a PlayStation 5 exclusive, made a grand entrance onto the PC, garnering glowing reviews on Steam. This interdimensional adventure stands out with its breathtaking visuals and groundbreaking multi-dimensional gameplay. In this asymmetrical multiplayer arena, gamers either become the fearsome Predator or join a team of soldiers, turning the game into a fierce competitive ground. The PC port retains the adrenaline-pumping dynamics of the original, further refined with optimized graphics and smoother controls. With ‘mostly positive’ reviews on Steam, Predator: Hunting Grounds stands as an exhilarating multiplayer experience, delivering a thrilling blend of strategy, teamwork, and raw predatory power.

PlayStation games coming to PC

Getting now into ‘speculation country’, most of the games listed in this section are unconfirmed yet. But judging from the past, Sony tends to release PC ports of their PlayStation titles about 4-5 years after their initial PlayStation release date, although Spider-Man Miles Morales found its way to PC only two years after its release date on the PS5. There are some PlayStation titles that seem highly unlikely to get to PC such as the Gran Turismo series, but hey, who knows, maybe one day we’ll have GT7 for the PC.
