Though she was born and raised in south Louisiana, her family affectionately calls her a “yankee”. Learning how to cook from her grandparents at a young age and being both Cajun and Sicilian has created a deep-rooted appreciation for all things culinary. In her spare time, she volunteers for Make-A-Wish helping to make wishes come true for the kiddos who have life-threatening illnesses. She also likes to read, go to concerts and spend time with her family and friends.
